Abstract
The Disease Prevention and Vaccination Management System in Poultry is an innovative web-based application designed to help poultry farmers keep a close eye on the health of their birds. Poultry farms often grapple with challenges like infectious diseases, inconsistent vaccination schedules, late disease detection, and high mortality rates, all of which can lead to serious financial setbacks. This system offers a centralized hub for tracking bird health records, monitoring disease symptoms, managing vaccination timelines, and keeping tabs on mortality rates. Utilizing Machine Learning, specifically the XGBoost algorithm, the system analyzes various health parameters to predict potential diseases based on symptoms and other key factors. By enabling early disease detection, farmers can implement preventive measures before an outbreak affects the entire flock. Additionally, the vaccination management module helps maintain vaccination records and sends reminders for upcoming shots.
An interactive dashboard presents crucial information, including the total number of birds, healthy and sick birds, mortality rates, vaccination statuses, disease predictions, and upcoming vaccinations. Both farmers and administrators can easily access health records and generate reports to support informed decision-making. By integrating web technologies, database management, and machine learning, this system aims to minimize disease outbreaks, enhance vaccination management, lower mortality rates, and boost overall productivity on poultry farms.
