Abstract
This study investigates the use of treated biomedical waste as a partial replacement in concrete. Concrete specimens with different replacement percentages were tested for compressive strength, workability, and water absorption. Results show that a limited amount of properly treated biomedical waste can be used without significantly affecting concrete performance, while higher replacement levels reduce strength and durability. The study demonstrates that treated biomedical waste can be utilized as an eco-friendly construction material, helping reduce landfill waste and conserve natural resources. Proper segregation, sterilization, and processing are essential for safe and effective utilization.
