Design and Development of an Alumnae Association Management System

Abstract

Alumnae associations provide an important connection between educational institutions with their former students. Such associations support communication record maintenance contribution activities professional contact institutional engagement alumnae participation. As the number of former students increases the management of personal academic professional contribution payment information becomes difficult through conventional record keeping methods. Paper records spreadsheets separate files may contain outdated information duplicate entries incomplete details. Manual retrieval of information may require additional time. This paper presents the design development of a web-based Alumnae Association Management System intended for centralized management of alumnae information association activities. The proposed system provides facilities for alumnae registration academic record management professional record management contribution submission payment detail management payment verification administrative record management report generation audit logging. The system supports a structured method for collecting storing updating retrieving alumnae information through a single platform. Alumnae can provide required information through registration facilities. Academic professional information can be maintained as organized records. Contribution information can be submitted through the portal. Payment details can be maintained for administrative verification. Administrators can review records manage contribution information verify submitted payment details filter required information prepare reports monitor important activities. The system is designed to reduce dependence on manual record keeping while improving accessibility organization consistency of alumnae information.
