Abstract
This paper examines the prevalent gender norms in Indian households, highlighting the complexities and nuances of patriarchal structures, cultural expectations, and socio-economic influences. Through a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative data analysis and qualitative interviews, this study reveals the persistence of traditional gender roles, the impact of education and urbanization, and the evolving attitudes towards gender equality.
